Liz Levy, RN, BSN, IBCLCIf your baby is struggling with oral dysfunction, oral ties, or feeding that just doesn’t feel right, you need expert care. I'm Liz, an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) with more than 10 years of experience specializing in the assessment and functional rehab of complex feeding issues. When needed, I work closely with other healthcare professionals and families to not just help you feed, but help your baby thrive. I began my professional career in 2010 as a nurse in a level 3 Neonatal ICU in Kansas City and quickly developed an interest and passion for helping families with breastfeeding. I earned my IBCLC certification in 2014 and in 2016 I left my hospital job to establish my private lactation practice full time.
In addition to my conventional lactation training, I have completed training in oral dysfunction, habilitation, and tie management. I also have personally experienced breastfeeding difficulties followed by successful outcomes with my own two children, who each struggled with oral ties. I am ready to help you with any breastfeeding issues you may have so that together we can create the best plan for you and your family. |
